2015 BMW i8
The BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car, developed and produced by BMW. The car was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013 and was released in Germany in June 2014.
The i8 was powered by a 170kW, 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo engine combined with a 98kW electric motor and hybrid system. It could accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and top speed was electronically limited to 250 km/h. The combined fuel consumption was claimed to be 2.1L/100km!
This specific car is a 2015 model with 113 693 kms on from new. This car has been well maintained is beautiful in Crystal White Pearl Metallic with Frozen Blue accents and a black interior.
With its low-slung stance, scissor doors and futuristic lines, the i8 looked like a vehicle from the year 2030, rather than the mid-2010s and offers supercar performance with economy!
