2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG is a front, mid-engine, 2-seater limited production sports car, developed by the AMG division of German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. As an AMG ambassador, David Coulthard famously assisted with the testing of various models. The car was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. Upon the introduction of the SLS, AMG claimed that the M159, 6.2L V-8 engine, producing 420 kW or 563hp was the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated production series engine. The” Super Leicht Sport” was largely assembled by hand with the chassis and aluminium body shell produced by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. Assembly was done at Sindelfingen in Germany while the engines were hand built by AMG in Affalterbach.
