1970 Ford Mustang 302 Boss
The Ford Mustang is arguably the most famous American muscle car. First introduced in April 1964, the Mustang is still being produced today and is currently in its sixth generation.
The Mustang Boss was a high-performance variant of the Mustang, produced by Ford in 1969 and 1970. The car was developed to meet homologation requirements to compete in Trans Am racing, in response to the success achieved by the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 since 1967. Although the Boss needed substantial modifications to be competitive on the track, thousands were sold to the public in a street-legal form, that included a refined high-performance engine and upgrades to the suspension and brakes over the base Mustangs.
