Volkswagen announced their second model range in 1950, known as the Volkswagen Type 2. Informally, depending on the body type we know it as the Bus, Kombi, Transporter, Microbus or a Camper.

The second generation of the Kombi was introduced in late 1967. This car lost the split windscreen and was slightly bigger and squarer. The car is affectionately known as the “Bread loaf” or the “Bay window”, also as the Loaf or the Bay, for short. The engine used in the first models was a new 1.6L with dual intake ports and produced 35kW or around 50 hp.

This specific car is a 1969 model, also known as the “Low light”, referring to the front indicators situated below the front headlamps, as opposed to next to the fresh air grille on later models. Finished in Sage Green with tan interior, this car is cosmetically completely original! It has never been painted or restored. Mechanically the car has been well maintained. The engine has been upgraded to 1776 cc with twin choke Weber carburetor by Vdubtech. The car drives beautifully and is stunning in its original condition with lots of patina!

A classic VW Bus at a very affordable asking price!
