Austin Healey’s were made until 1972, when the 20-year agreement between Healey and Austin came to an end.
The 3000 Mark 11 was launched in late 1962. It was a convertible with almost saloon car comfort, including a wrap-around windscreen, wind-up side windows, swiveling quarter lights and a quick-action folding roof. The triple SU carburetors were replaced with twin SU HS6 carburetors. Austin-Healey claimed a top speed exceeding 184km/h!
