1980 Porsche 911 SC

The very famous and distinctive design of the 911 was first introduced in 1963. This shape basically stayed the same until the introduction of the 964 in 1989. The car is still available today and this iconic sports car is still instantly recognisable as a Porsche 911!

The first 911 was a rear engined and air-cooled car. The 911 was modified both by private teams and the factory itself for racing, rallying and other types of automotive competition. The 911 is being hailed as the most successful competition car ever, especially when its variations are included, like the very powerful 911-derived 935. This car won 24 Hours of Le Mans and other major sports cars races outright against prototypes.

This specific car is a 1980 911 SC that was first modified and enhanced to be a track car and then refreshed and turned back into road car. Some of the racecar enhancements were retained for the road car version, such as:

• Custom made exhaust
• Elephant suspension kit
• Billstein sports shocks
• Widened rims
• Front suspension brace
• Light weight bonnet.

In addition, the standard front brakes have been moved to the rear and the fronts upgraded to 930 Turbo brakes. The suspension has been professionally set up. The result is a 181HP car that weighs around 940kgs with impeccable handling characteristics, perfect for lots of fun on the road or on the racetrack!
