1969 Alfa Romeo 1300 Junior Stepnose
The Alfa Romeo 105 and 115 series coupes were manufactured by Alfa Romeo from 1963 to 1977 and the replaced the Giulietta Sprint series. The GT 1300 Junior was introduced in 1965 and was the entry level model to the Alfa Romeo coupe range. The car was fitted with a 1290 cc twin cam engine and although performance was down on the other cars in the range with bigger engines, top speed was still over 100 mph, and zero to 60 mph took only 12,6 seconds! This was not bad for a fully appointed coupe with a little 1300 cc engine! The 1300 Juniors were in production for more than a decade and were periodically updated by the factory with many of the same revisions reserved for the bigger engine cars.
This specific car is a 1969 “Stepnose” model that was subject to a very high-quality restoration around 10 years ago. It has done only 2500kms since then and is in an almost brand-new condition! A stunning Italian classic finished in Dutch Blue with grey interior, perfect in almost every detail!
