2016 Porsche Cayenne S Diesel

The Cayenne E2 is larger than the E1, its predecessor. It features a more slanted rear window with a sloping roofline, a more slanted windscreen with door-mounted side mirrors. The headlights on the E2 are inspired by the Carrera GT and the tail lights extend onto the cars tailgate. The E2 also features LED daytime running lights.

The interior on the E2 was completely redesigned and modeled on the interior of the Panamera. As a result of the extensive use of aluminum and magnesium the car is 250kg lighter than the E1 and therefore also more fuel efficient than its predecessor.  In July 2014, Porsche announced a face lift of the E2, with minor exterior and interior updates and a few new power train options.
