The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars produced by Toyota and first introduced in 1966. The Corolla is one of the best-selling cars in the world and Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million units sold in 2021 over twelve generations of the car!
The E80 Corolla was the fifth generation and was produced from 1983 to 1987. This was the first front-wheel-drive Corolla, and the engines were fitted transverse. The cars were characterised by a sloping bonnet and contemporary sharp-edged, no-frills style.
This specific car is a 1988 Toyota Corolla GLS Sprinter with the 4A-L 1,6 L engine. It is a one family-owned car, passed on from the first owner to his daughter.
