2002 Mazda MX5
The Mazda MX-5 is two-seater sports car manufactured by Mazda. It is a lightweight car with a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The car made its initial mark in the USA where it remains very successful till this day and is commonly and affectionately known as the Miata. The name Miata derives from old high German for “reward”, and the MX-5 is certainly rewarding to drive!
This specific car is a second generation 2002 model, also known as the NB model. The proportions of the car remained the same. The most noticeable change was the removal of the retractable headlamps on the NA models. The NB models had a slight increase in engine power, a refined interior and the option of a six-speed manual transmission. In 2001 further revisions included slightly updated front and rear styling as well as variable-valve-timing for the 1,8-litre engine, which now made 106 kW.
This car is finished in Red with a black interior. It has done 120000kms from new and is in a near perfect condition. A great opportunity to own a fine example of the best selling two-seater sportscar in history!
